FirstView®, powered by First Student, is a valuable tool designed to keep parents informed about their student's school bus journey. It provides parents with real-time information about the location of their student's bus, estimated arrival times at the student's stop, and when the bus arrives or departs from the school. This partnership between First Student and the school districts brings increased transparency and communication, benefiting both students and families.

Although FirstView® is currently available only to a limited number of school districts, efforts are being made to offer it to as many districts as possible. If you are interested in accessing FirstView®, please contact your school district or our FirstView® support team for more information.

Live Tracking

The FirstView® map screen displays the live location and direction of your student's bus, along with the stop schedule for the current day and timestamps for arrivals and departures.

Predictive Stop Arrival Times

Using route and real-time GPS data, FirstView® calculates estimated arrival times for your stop, which are displayed on the map.

Custom Alerts and Messages

• Set up push or email notifications to be alerted when your student's bus is a certain distance or number of minutes away from your stop.
• Receive push messages informing you of the reason for your student's bus delay and the estimated delay duration.

Multi-Stop View

With FirstView®, you can track the buses for all your students. Each student is assigned a unique color, making it easy to differentiate between stops on the map.

Additional User Notifications

The main user of the FirstView® app can link up to three additional email accounts to receive email alerts.

Secure and Easy Access

• FirstView® requires a password-protected account and your student's ID for app set-up, ensuring that only authorized users can view your student's stop.
• You can register and log in to FirstView® from your smartphone, tablet, or desktop, providing convenient access wherever you are.
